The Tuition Partnership was created to help ease that pressure, while calling on the community to rally behind the values and chinuch we care deeply about.

Families complete an application which is submitted for review.

Vetting and approval
The family is approved based on financial information and collaboration with schools and local community leaders. Private finances are not shared with schools.

Families receive support
Funds are paid directly to the schools on a quarterly schedule. Families receive confirmation of the payments, which are reflected on their tuition statement.

Every family is vetted and approved
Every application goes through a thorough vetting system including financial information and collaboration with school and local community leaders.
Your donation has a defined purpose
Contributions go directly towards the obligations of the approved family.
A transparent and accountable process
Families are reviewed, partnering schools have clear guidelines and agreements, and donations and payments are handled through a clear and trackable process.
Your gift isn’t funding the operation overhead
Program overhead is covered separately, so funds raised to partner with education go only towards their intended purpose.
Clear financial oversight
Funds are managed with established financial controls and a defined process for receiving, allocating, and distributing donations. Financial activity is tracked and subject to independent public annual audits, providing accountability and transparency at every stage.

At the same time, many families feeling immense tuition pressure are still giving maaser or supporting other causes important to them.
The Tuition Partnership is about rallying behind something we care immensely about — the chinuch that shapes our children and the next generation.
The goal is broad participation. One donor can’t solve the full tuition crisis. But when everyone contributes in whatever way they can, real relief can be felt for hundreds of families in our community.
Even if a family can qualify for assistance, they can still be part of building a community-wide solution in their own doable way.

Jewish education is one of the most important investments we make in the future of our children and our community. But the rising cost of education places significant pressure on families and makes it increasingly difficult to sustain the education system we so deeply value.
The answer is not simply to help a few families with tuition.
It is to build a culture of broad, ongoing community participation, with a public-wide display of our priorities.
By coming together to help carry the cost of chinuch, we can strengthen families, support schools, and ensure that the values and education we cherish remain accessible and sustainable for generations to come.

- How do I know the families really need help, and are not just being irresponsible?
- Every family goes through a thorough review process before being approved. The goal is not simply to find families who want assistance, but to identify families who are genuinely carrying this responsibility as best as they can and need some relief. As an example: scholarships start at grade 3 so previous tuition schedules can be reviewed to ensure payments have been made.
- Where do my funds actually go?
- Your contribution goes directly toward lowering the tuition obligation of the approved family you are supporting. Program overhead is covered separately, so funds raised to support families are used for their intended purpose.
- I already pay tuition, why should I pay it for someone else too?
- It's a fair question. Many families who are feeling significant tuition pressure are still giving maaser and supporting other causes that matter to them. The Tuition Partnership gives the community a way to rally around something that affects all of us — the chinuch that shapes our children and the next generation. One person can't solve the tuition challenge. But when many people contribute whatever they can, meaningful relief can reach hundreds of families. And even if your own family could qualify for assistance, you can still participate in building a solution that benefits the broader community.
- Isn’t this another school scholarship fund?
- The goal is not simply to provide scholarships to a limited number of families. The Tuition Partnership is designed around broad, ongoing community participation. It's about creating an ongoing way for the community to participate in tuition support, rather than waiting until a family's situation becomes a crisis.
- What if I can’t take on a full scholarship?
- You don't have to. The Tuition Partnership was designed with different levels of participation. You can contribute toward a full scholarship alongside other partners, or choose a smaller monthly amount. There are also options for one-time and other types of donations. Every contribution helps build the broader pool of support.
- I’m likely eligible for a scholarship, should I still be giving?
- Yes. Being under tuition pressure doesn't mean you can't contribute to the community in other ways. In fact, broad participation is an important part of how this model works. You can receive assistance when you need it and still help another family when you're able. Giving and receiving aren't opposites.
